Overview

The ALL DIGITAL Awards recognize individuals and organizations across Europe that promote digital inclusion, literacy, and innovation, helping people benefit from the opportunities created by digital transformation.

The project involved designing and producing a trophy that celebrated the achievements of the winners while reflecting the organization’s commitment to technology, creativity, and digital empowerment.

My role in the project

I was responsible for the trophy design and production, combining digital design tools with hands-on fabrication techniques. My work included creating the award, personalizing each piece for its recipient, and designing a dedicated container for its transport and storage.

The Challenge

The challenge was to create a distinctive, repeatable trophy that could be customized for each winner while maintaining a consistent design across all recipients. The design also needed to balance aesthetics, material selection, fabrication constraints, and practical requirements for carrying and storing each piece.

The Solution

I designed and produced the trophy combining wood and methacrylate, using laser cutting alongside traditional woodworking techniques. Each award shared the same design while incorporating individual customization for its recipient.

I also created a trophy container for the award to complete the design, providing a practical solution for transport and storage.
