Diploma design for the Fab Academy class of 2015, created to recognize the students achievements in digital fabrication and rapid prototyping.
Overview
Fab Academy is a hands-on, globally distributed educational program that teaches digital fabrication and rapid prototyping through weekly practical projects. Operating across a worldwide network of Fab Labs, it connects students, mentors, and local learning communities through shared resources and interactive online classes.
The Challenge
The challenge was to translate the program’s established visual identity into a formal diploma that recognized students’ achievements while maintaining consistency with the Fab Academy and Fab Foundation’s graphic guidelines.
My role in the project
I was responsible for designing the diploma for the Fab Academy class of 2015, following the graphic references and guidelines provided by the Fab Foundation.
The Solution
The diploma design aligned with the organization’s visual identity and it was well received by both students and the Fab Academy team and it provided a meaningful way to recognize students’ hard work and dedication, celebrating their achievements throughout the program.
